Whatever else this new car might be, it isn't a replacement for the F1. It's a midpriced tourer.

When your engine and transmission (as well as CF tub for most models) are identical (except for a few software tweaks and bits and pieces) across the entire range and all you need to do as add boost you can pretty much do what you like as the cost is much lower
