Don't all Renault cars now come with free servicing for the warranty period to combat the negative reliability image they have?
I recall Peugeot and Citroen doing the same.

peugeot do fixed price servicing... but not free. cant remember about the others

Yes they have packaged servicing but the reliability thing is pretty much BS.
My clio has 220,000kms on it. Only had a broken engine mount and a crank position sensor fail in 12 years.
Everything else was just wear and tear.
Find a specialist, give a car what it needs when it needs it, and most cars should go fine.
Unless its a Mk6 Golf with DSG!!! (of course this is another of those many generalisations just like the ones attached to french cars, however a mate of mine has had shocking trouble with his...but I'm sure many haven't).

Steve Cramp at Manta should be able to service it.

Thanks for that. Steve has been looking after the car for a while now. Since he has been doing the work, I've been able to take the tilt-tray off speed dial. Five times they were needed due to inept work and rework by the Adelaide Renault dealers.

Unley Renault is a total fuckstorm of an operation.

That's correct. I've been messing about with Renaults for way too long, and the only time I've had to call the RAA, or for a tilt-tray, is when the modern dealer serviced one had been worked on by them.

As with most cars, look after them, and they will look after you.

Steve is my go to guy. Very knowledgeable about Renaults amongst other things.
The broken engine mount and a crank position sensor are common Clios faults.
Both Renault dealers in Adelaide (I think they are owned by the same company) are shocking when it comes to service.
