Well, I don't really need one but they look cool. Alvchua recommended a HAPP. I'm also told Molnar make a good product. Anyone have any thoughts? I don't need to work on a car - just be able to drive another one under it. :o

Double park them?

When at some point you turn it into a true man-cave the hoist wont look great

I think it would be a waste of $$$$, especially since you have the space I assume?

but then only you know if you'll go from 8 to 15 to 30 cars.

I'm not likely to ever turn it into a man-cave but, if I did, a hoist would be the first thing I'd want. :o

If I add any more cars without stacking, I'll need to move one car to get to another - inconvenient.

Scud, I keep the batteries charged by driving them.

There are some nice simple hoist solutions that would work well with that. I will chase up some info I have on them and send it over.
Building we did had them in the car park to get more spaces

you will still have to shuffle cars with a hoist.

I have a 4 post at work for a rack. I think it would be easier shifting cars until they don't fit

IMO a hoist would look out of place and ugly. How about a column lift. You could fit a few against the walls.
