The difference between the R8 V10 plus and Huracan in terms of driving feel, acceleration, sound, etc is quite significant, I've spent a whole day with a bunch of R8s the other day, fantastic car but a bit too soft for my liking, I'd compare it with a 991.

To me in this price bracket its between Huracan 580, 991 GT3 (when the MK2 arrives), or McLaren 570s.
I like the R8 but I wouldn't choose it over one of the above.
The general public is a terrible barometer of taste. Trust your own sensibilities.

I can't get over the looks. The previous R8 looked like nothing else on the road. The new one looks like a bigger version of the TT.

Very harsh on the Huracan. I didn't know he dislikes it so much.

The multiple mode setup reminds me of the M5s I had. A real turn off.
