I thought he shouldn't trivialise a car that someone has to pay a bundle for, I know it's only a low end offering as far as Porsche goes but his buyers wont want to be reminded of that...unless I misheard him....

You misheard him. He was making the point that the GT4 is the entry point for the GT range (GT3/GT2/RS etc) which it is.  He also said the drive back from testing in Southern Italy was the most fun he's had in a car.

Fair enough, I've had bad experiences with arrogant Germanic/Swiss types.....judge too quickly :o

Love the car and so cheap for what it is.............cant see them being easy to get.

Not so fast, the 924 Carrera GTR was a real weapon. I've got photos of a locally delivered one somewhere  :scratchchin:

I test drove a new one back in its day. It was laggy as hell and had a dogleg gearshift pattern.  Not easy to get the best out of.
