I test drove a new one back in its day. It was laggy as hell and had a dogleg gearshift pattern.  Not easy to get the best out of.

I wasn't old enough to have a driving license at the time, so I missed out :p

A pharmacist FCA member owned one in period. He loved it and wished that he hadn't let it go.
