Clever product planning.

It's a pity they havn't engineered a double hinged hatch back so it can be opened either side. walking around to the LHS of the car to get stuff out is annoying.

Interesting that total capacity of frunk and hatch is 40L more than a Ford Focus...
Agree on the hatch - should be double hinged so it can open either way.

I thought the hatch was able to be hinged either side. At least that is what I read in some press thing this morning.

Permanently hinged or able to be opened from both sides always? The latter would be more helpful.

The hinge is determined by left or right hand drive.
The hatch will always open on the kerbside.
So for aussie cars, the hinge is on the drivers side and it opens from the passenger side.
It's the reverse for LHD cars.

Should be a double hinge!
