Just had a new follower on Twitter (@PPSRcheX) which mentioned something in their bio about the coming PPSR in May 2011.

Not sure what it means off the top of my head, basically it sounds like bringing in a national system for checking whether a saleable object has debt applied.

Hey Ash, we noticed your post on here, and yep we followed you on Twitter.  However our website is www.ppsrchex.com.au  The site tells you a bit more about what PPSR is.

Basically in terms of buying a used car, youll be able to check a new national register (instead of performing a REVScheck in whatever state you're buying the car in) to check whether there is still finance owing on the car.
