These days of course few, if any owners would drive a Boxer like that. It's been decades since I saw one on a race track, or even driven in anger on the road. Most people today would cruise on the speed limit to a winery or lunch somewhere. It's perfectly civilized in that role.
Back in the period everyone drove them like lunatics and there would be a fleet of them on every breakfast run and track day. Last time I saw one used in anger would have been Targa Tasmania in the early 1990's.

I know a guy who had one and loved it for many years.

It recently sold again for well over $200k, I'm told.

I don't think there's a 25% difference in price like scott suggests with 365/512 versions...

Condition alike, I'd say a 365 MIGHT get 10% more, but certainly not from me or from anyone I know that's driven all versions. 

I'd take a 512 every time over a 365. Even a BBi maybe, although the BBis are really tame compared to the carbie cars and they made too many BBis..

365s are definitely a bit lighter, felt in the steering, but otherwise the 512s are so much torquier and also more stable. Plus the dry sump and lighter clutch etc... just a well developed version.

I have a carbie 512 in for major service right now if anyone wants to see one up close.

Gee listening to that 275 NART brought back a lot of memories. I was fortunate to spend a lot of time behind the wheel of my fathers 275 GTB/4 and not surprisingly it sounded exactly like the NART. That was when Ferraris sounded fabulous just because that was the way they were and not because of some geek buried in a sound lab in Maranello. Todays Ferraris sound so artificial by comparison.
