One bum can only sit in one seat at a time and there is only so much time one has for the playpen :)

This is true..... especially given that I spend 6 months a year O/S now too.

Many years ago I used to run 4 Ferraris, a daily driver that I changed every 6-12 months and 4 motorcycles. At the time I was also building my businesses and working my ring off big time. One day I had an epiphany and realised I didn't actually have time to use all that stuff and it was costing me something like $15k a year in rego and insurance (this was mid 1990's) before any of them turned a wheel

I dialled it back from totally insane to merely insane after that :p

Of course there is the other side of the coin.

Sell my cars, pay off all my properties and live off the rent for the rest of my life without having to work.

At the moment I am working towards somewhere in the middle.

2 x nice cars plus 2 x daily drivers.

Plus a house and car in Lake Como.
May the Horse be with you....

Nice; but you will need serious bucks for your middle ground :)

These days I would be happy with one new exotic and a very nice daily driver plus the Tesla for the wife. I can easily live without all the rest. Fortunately I am happy in the house that we have now. No desire to upgrade or have one in a far flung exotic location :)

That is a beautiful part of the world.  I've stayed at Moltrasio a few times.  One of the best times I heard someone in an old F1 boat, the sound was sensational.  Also the 6 Euro pizzas are to die for!
