Selling 3 of the cars. I simply don't use them and when I drive them I drive them out of guilt so they don't just sit there. I just want to drive the Lambos all the time and I am replacing all these 3 cars with more Lambos, so there is absolutely no reason to keep them.

Car 1:

Lotus Esprit GT300 GT2 racer. One of 5 factory built to contest LeMans. Other 4 have been destroyed. This is the only real survivor.

In Australia, this car won the GTP championships (Brad Jones) and held the Bathurst fastest lap record (Larry Perkins).
Super famous car, very well known internationally. There is even a Spark die cast toy of her.

Owning this car will get you tons of invitations. So far I've had invitations to Top Gear, Phillip Island Historics, Silverstone Festival, Goodwood and LeMans historics.

Car is in absolutely perfect, fully restored, ready to race condition, in the LeMans livery. Tons of spares included - engine, mechanical bits, bodyparts, wheels with brand new Pirelli slicks, etc.

917kg, 550bhp in qualifying mode, 440bhp in endurance racing mode. It cost the Lotus factory over 200,000GBP in 1993 to build.

Valuations from brokers and dealers around the world have varied wildly up to and over AU$1mil. I think that is highly optimistic. She is currently insured for AU$400k. A figure around that would make me happy for a no hassle, no stress transaction.

A barn find, rolling shell only, made out of spare parts of this car, was recently sold in the UK for 50,000GBP.

Car 2:

1991 Ferrari 348 Tb, Australian delivered. I am 3rd owner.

Over $80,000 spent to make the car like new, including bare metal paint, brand new interior (leather, carpets, panels, steering wheel), tons of mechanicals new (suspension, gearbox, clutch, exhaust including cats, brakes, etc, etc). 360 wheels, MilleMiglia exhaust. Original wheels and exhaust included.

I’ve owned it for 7 years. All services and maintenance are up to date.

Descibed by a Ferrari concours judge as the best conditioned 348 he’s ever seen.

If you are after one of these, look at all the others available, then look at this one.

Very well known car by a lot of respected Ferrari specialists. Any test welcome. This car will cost you nothing to run apart from regular maintenance.

$85,000. Not negotiable as it will cost you infinitely more to get a 348 to this condition, regardless how cheap and good it is to begin with.

Car 3:

1996 Lotus Esprit S4s, Australian delivered, I am first owner.

One of only 30 built, this is the only one this colour (Norfolk Mustard) in Australia. This is possibly the best S4s in the world.
Australian Concurs Champion and twice State Champion.

Very well known car nationally and internationally.

This car has received every single factory improvement supplied by Lotus over the years. 370bhp, 0-100kph in 4sec, quarter 12s, 307kph max speed, all GPS verified.

Car is absolutely faultless cosmetically and mechanically. Truly impossible to find better in the world.

It comes with all the bits and pieces supplied from new - wind deflector, sunroof bag, tool kits, luggage, sunglasses, wallet, brochures and so on. Also I have a full collection of every magazine in the world that has printed an article on the S4s. That comes with the car too.

The S4s was Lotus’s way of showing the world what they are capable off. Everything they knew was thrown at the S4s in comparison to the standard car, the S4. The S4s is widely regarded as the best Esprit ever made, same view held by the factory techs when they built them. In the UK, when available, good examples sell for same money as they did when they were brand new.

$100,000 firm.

I need to point out that there is no rush to sell and I am not hard up for cash, so no stupid offers will be entertained.

The cars are only sold out of guilt of just seeing them sit there not being used. Also, they are being replaced with the same colour Lambos and I don't like owning two cars of the same colour.

The cars are the absolute best examples of what they are, so if you want the best, this is it.

The asking prices are what I am happy to let them go for, otherwise I am just as happy to keep them.

Hi Mate,

So are you still going O/S? with Car 1?

Have you tried George and Gavin?
May the Horse be with you....

Ah man, I was just reminiscing about my old 348 with the younger bro. Yours is a huge amount of car, in incredible condition for the money you are asking... I'd wish you good luck with the sale, but I'd like it to hang around so I can grab it when we settle on the new building and I have room!   :D

C'mon, do it!

Probably not. Possibly only to promote it for sale. I was thinking hard about it and I'd rather play with the Lambo in the desert instead.

I'd jump at doing another EU trip in a Lambo. But in the Lotus, doesn't appeal so much to me anymore. So if I go, it will be only to take advantage of the invite to the Silverstone Classic and sell the car there if it's not sold beforehand.

Have you tried George and Gavin?
Don't know them.
