Out on a Test Run today.  BMW M1.  The only RHD version in the world and only 14,149 on the clock.

Saw this one on the 2005 Climb to the Eagle.  Test drive?  Is it for sale (he asks hopefully)?

BTW Simon, are you doing this year's Climb?

Sorry, no.  this car forms part of a large private collection.  The Ferrari 256, some Astons, Bentleys, BMWs, 2000GT.  Can't remember how many I saw in the warehouse but I reckon around 12 or so.  The guy who drives them only looks after them.  The original owners son now has the controlling interest in all the vehicles, but he has no reason to sell any of them.

And yes, just signed up for this years climb.  The M1 is heading up as well.  He didn't want to take the 256 up this year as it's just to stressfull and expensive to drive.
