I disagree completely. It's like saying that if you buy a Lamborghini, you buy an Audi, which isn't nearly true. Years upon years of work went into the car, Toyota didn't have much to do with it either. I'll agree that the price is steep, but surely it's justified(?)

I would love an LFA just for the sound... 

+1, but the appeal of the LFA is interesting to me because it is so expensive but doesn't have a strong point, it just seems like a solid car all around and you can get cars that perform better for significantly less then $750K

not tickling my balls at all, and for the price $750k??? you'd take a 458 or superleg with change or a 2nd hand aven next year.

but if you want to be different and not show up at a set of lights with another one pulling up beside you then that's ok.

but everyone will look at it and think it's a lexus with a bodykit.

Perhaps it's Lexus entering the exotic market for the first time and people don't see them as being in the same league as Ferrari or Lamborghini even though it's priced as being in the same league. It certainly doesn't have the history that Ferrari and Lamborghini has either, whether that is a factor or not.

I'll reserve full judgement until I see one in action.

It just needed to be outrageous. They missed the mark there. Right now, it looks like a $300k car and no more.
