Hi there, I'm trying to take the roof of my Boxster so I can change the plastic window but having problems with the centre bit near the seat belt strap. The fabrics is joined on via a rod & tricky to get off & also the back part near the window is not coming off. Any help appreciated. Cheers

Write up here on removing the roof from a 2001. I didnt read it to see if it mentions your problem. Post 5 on the page.

There are also videos on youtube on how to do it.
