Countach would be a cool car to own, until you drove it.

I drove a 5000QV once, thought it was great in comparison to the Testarossa which was the competition at the time.
Really early Countach models are allegedly terrible to drive; but I would love to drive one anyway.

Hmmm

I have pictures of this car that I took at Winton when it was the company demo. It was a beautiful dark metallic green and looked sensational.

I'd really like to atleast drive one to see if I could live with driving it every so often.

Is this particular one better than the white one duttons have for sale at around 700k?

They are on my work computer, I will post them tomorrow.
I have posted them ages ago; but the search function is so poor I couldn't find them.

I have no idea, sorry. The black one looks pretty average in the pictures.

Thanks Dave; but I'm not buying classics at anything like those prices. As I recall the QV that I drove was $325k ish about 4 to 5 years ago. That's about what they are worth to me and I can't see them going back to that level any time soon.

Duttons car is the least desirable variant. Even though I think it's the best looking one and supposedly the most drivable.
You make something idiotproof, they'll make a better idiot.
