Nah, the perfect family bus is a Tesla Model X   :D

Not at $300k, around the $100k mark where it really should be priced at it would be more acceptable but there is no way my wife would remind to recharge it so it won't happen also sat in a Tesla Model S today I am sorry to say but a Mazda 6 feels more luxurious, the Americans still don't know how to build luxurious cars.

All true to some extent; but the technology makes up for it.

No sold on that, self driving or advanced cruise control because it isn't really self driving is ok if you do a lot of highway driving the rest of the tech is available in the other cars or on your smart phone.

I will have the 3 when it comes out but looking at the quality of the S interior I am not having high hopes for it.

It's good that some people such as yourself are early adopters of new tech and are willing to pay for it, I will wait  :D

I find the X on the 7 seat lay out to be quite small, mid row didn't have as much leg room as the S, and the rear row had about as much leg room as a GTR.

Perfect family bus still be a Toyota Alphard LOL

We went for the 6 seat layout. That gives the occupants of the back seat plenty of room to spread their legs out between the 2 seats in the middle row.
