So Toyota and Subaru are bringing a rear wheel drive buzz box to aus.

What are your thoughts on the reviews so far??
What are your thoughts on the concept??

I follow some groups on FaceBook that post up pics of tuned Jap spec cars, I have to say I'm warming up to the looks but wouldn't say I love it / hate it till after driving it. I'm a big fan of small, light weight, efficient cars.

I'm a fan of the idea and the concept and don't mind the looks of the coupe (reminds me of the Z4 Coupe) although I much prefer the model lying across the bonnet!  :D

The initial purchase price is going to be a bit cheaper on the model laying on the bonnet but watch those maintenance costs bite you  :faint:

Is the Aus pricing released yet?

I would go the Subaru over the Toyota, the more conservative styling is more my cup of tea,
but I think price would be the biggest sale factor

I think the concept of these cars are fantastic.
It will be very interesting to drive them back to back and see if there is any real differance.

I am slightly disappointed that there is no dual clutch gearbox. If vw can get them into a golf why can't they get them in to these.

I am reserving my judgement on looks untill I see them together and do a good comparison.

But I am quite excited about these.
