Sydney I can only speak for people I see buying recently but they seem to be Chinese or Lebanese. Like Scott said they are a fashion accessory and are driving to swanky places to be parked out the front.
A lot of these guys are mates and very few are keen drivers

Unfortunately not many places to go for a spirited drive now days, really means the track.  Especially with some of the pace modern stuff puts out.

I'm not seeing the trends being mentioned in this thread at any event where there are lots of cars - go back and watch the recent cars and coffee videos and you'll see a cross section of every ethnicity in supercars at all the big events.

It's not that different here either, of the guys that have posted up purchases of new (and old) supercars, it's pretty much a cross-section of every background, profession and interest imaginable.
C'mon, do it!
