Perhaps the only car i would replace on my list is the E-type I now own, for a disc brake 300sl roadster with hardtop .

I really should buy one and keep it in the UK ,as a few of my friends are now in the process of buying  cars and keeping them in the  UK,for their overseas holidays .

That thing is lovely. Dare I ask the sticker price if one could be found to buy?
C'mon, do it!

They are stunning cars. The roadster in my eyes is a better looking car than the gullwing.

I was talking about PeePee's comment, grumpy old fart. If you lot keep agreeing with him I'll just have to ban him........

Get used to it
I love my car. Buy your own

LOL!

Too late!

And you still love it obviously  :)

Sometimes I wonder if I drove one today whether I would have the same opinion. I did 18000 miles in ours from 1989-1996?
Thrashed it in a Targa Tasmania which was terrifying. Did dozens and dozens of track days where it ate brakes faster than tyres. Did a couple of Grand Prix Rallies as well. In other words, made it do things that it was terrible at and it showed.
If  I owned one today it would be driven gently on the roads like the big GT that it is. In those conditions it might just be better than ok  :scratchchin:
