I am driving from Stuttgart Germany to Davos Switzerland in a couple of weeks time with a mate to go snowboarding.

Is there any "MUST DO" roads that can be included in the drive?

Lucky bugger.

The must do roads I can think of are likely to be snowed out sadly.

It is likely the roads will not be in a state to take much spirited driving through the mountains but there is hope. There is a mini "heat wave" hitting the alps this thursday-saturday with tops of 12 degrees (pleasant change from the minus 8 to minus 30 over night we had for a couple of weeks over February. If it lasts and doesn't snow in the mean time the roads will be good and most probably pretty much empty as well.   I'll keep you updated.

Or unlucky as you are going for Snowboarding, should be good up any mountain still for another month or two at least
You can say I'm wrong, but my garage doesn't agree with that statement!!!

That is sad and good news all mixed in to one since this part of the trip dose require snow.

Oh well will still be interesting on the autobahn.
And the beers are always cold on the slopes

Also the most direct way is pretty boring from Stuttgart to Davos. I'd take the way through Kempton-Fussen - Oberstdorf (Austria) and then to Switzerland.

Much more twisty roads, less police and more than enough higher legal speeds through non built up areas of the roads. And if it's snowed or icy it is even more fun.

I would heavily think twice about attempting "spirited driving" through Switzerland, they are so anti driving fast that random locals will dob you in (assuming the hidden fixed cameras, time distance cameras, rubbish bin cameras and hidden police doing radar duty don't get you first), especially if your cars numberplate is from outside Switzerland.

Don't leave them out overnight though. Unless you like being woken up by exploding bottles and cans in the middle of the night.

See what the weather reports closer to the day is like. Weather here is extremely unpredictable because of the mountains and in general I don't take much notice of a foreast more than 48 hours ahead.

Autobahns are still great as long as it isn't snow or ice and visibility is decent. Always be mindful that traffic jams can and do appear out of nowhere for seemingly no reason especially now in winter with snow ploughs on the roads.
