Sad day.  JH was a writer before he was a film maker and I loved his pieces in National Lampoon.  In fact, "Vacation" started as a NL short story and in the original, Clark Griswald drove the family to Disneyland (not Wallyworld) and he killed Walt Disney because Disneyland was closed on a Tuesday.  Classic stuff.
