this is interesting, some guy downloaded data from his in-car GPS and used it to get out of a speeding ticket...

apart from providing positional data from which a speed can be averaged out to, i didn't think you'd be able to use it to *prove* what speed you were doing except an average over a given distance.  perhaps the courts don't know this yet...  :mischief:
