I couldn't find another general topic on this, but thought some may be interested in a link I came accross for driving roads in the US.

Any dancers, welders, Guardsmen, chefs or just regular, every day, spat wearers here?

The picture on that link. I thought it looked pretty cool on the GPS when we drove it.

Is there a thread here on good driving roads in the UK?  I recall Scotland has some great roads, and I read in Evo that Northern Wales is also well endowed.  Any that others know of?  I have spare week coming up and thought I'd rent something tasty and do a few days exploring. :drive:

The Cotswolds

The Lake district.

All of Wales rural areas are great, not just the north.

Try to get to ireland if you can..... they're MAD over there.....!

Thanks Phil - I knew you would know.

Sounds like there's plenty to keep me busy for a few days.

It's a pity Steve G isn't still here.  He and I talked about doing a Euro tour together. :(

There's some awesome roads at my home area in kent too, but most of them are super narrow, especially in spring before they clip the hedgerows back... but for some fast roads in kent, head down to the Romney Marsh.....  watch out for the dykes though! (and I mean Ditches, not lesbians)

For aircraft buffs, that's the location of a famous low pass for RAF jets.
