Must soooo out of a job by now!

probably, a shame too, as he would be the ONE cop likely to be leniant to "speeders" even when the time place and circumstance dictate that it is safe to do so.

In this clip, he is off the public road at least.

Town rallies behind accused hoon cop

The Carnamah community has today rallied around a police officer who was stood down over WA’s latest hoon cop scandal.

The Shire of Carnamah and North Midlands Agricultural Society both called for the officer to be reinstated and not subject to disciplinary action over an incident caught on film during which the officer showed participants in a burn-out competition how to perform a dangerous stunt.

It is understood the 30-year-old officer was trained in high-performance driving.

Quote
“This demonstration was taken in a controlled environment to educate the community and to promote the event. Under no circumstances was anybody in danger, the officer was merely supporting the youth of our community,” Mr Nettle said.

Mr Lienert claimed the officer admitted to performing the stunt, and told investigators he had made an error in judgment.

“At a time when the road toll in regional WA is high, it is just the wrong message to be sending and inappropriate behaviour,” Mr Leinert said today.

Police are still investigating whether an offence has been committed – a task complicated by the fact that the stunt was performed on private property.
