Anyone out there using Google Maps with Android?  Does it give live directions, distances, traffic view, speed camera alerts etc?

Not sure if this answers your question, but I came accross this link - http://routes.tomtom.com/

It seems to allow you to plan a route and add it to your iPhone via TomTom Home which is a free download - http://www.tomtom.com/en_au/services/tomtom-home/

As for route plans over multiple trips/days it may be a matter of planning several routes and adding them to the favourites and selecting them as you go.

FAQs as well - http://routes.tomtom.com/help/faq#PlanningRoute_plan

I haven't tried it, as I only just came accross it.

TomTom regards a route as the shortest or quickest path between two points.  It would take weeks to input a full journey as I can load in minutes on Google Maps. It also doesn't enable you to see the detailed map and change routes by dragging with a cursor as wtih Google Maps.
