Waiting outside Harrods today, I watched a woman parking her Merc coupe into a space about 1 inch longer than her car.  Too bad if you owned the car either end.  It took her about 20 minutes - she wanted that park!

Both cars either end weren't moved - here's how she fitted.

Speaking of tight spots.  This was my garage in London.  Had to reverse in on the angle.  2" clearance on either side.

I used to work at a balcony position on Rundle St - I used to see this live!!!  Seriously, a chick in a merc would just go back and forth into the spot right in front of everyone at the Austral touching each car until she was in there.

Look - after that fiasco with realising a great deal of the population don't know whether the sun or the moon goes around the earth, I'm willing to believe almost anything about the oxygen-wasters around us.

A certain family member of mine doesn't do that kind of thing in public, but his favourite way of parking his Q7 in the garage is to "gently nudge the wall" because "it's a four wheel drive, it's designed to do it!"

Yeah, Dad. You're quarantined from my cars.

Tight fit there, Simon but you'd know better than me that you were lucky to have a roof over the Lotus's head.  The machinery left overnight on the street here is amazing.
