When... :p

Let me get a car first - then let's talk. :)

Forget that.  I've got a car.  The question is, who else can we rope in?

I ignore the law on this. If someone is going slow and I have to get past them on a single carriageway I put the pedal flat so I am out of the incoming traffic lane as quickly as possible.

ACTUALLY - thats what I was taught to do and might be a good defence, if you're passing too slow it's dangerous, worth a try?

A defence, a frequently used defence, but not a good defence.  His Honour has heard it all before.

The law is an ass in this regard, we all know that.

She broke the law, so cop it, BUT depending on her reasons for doing it, don't get bitter over it.

If "I" were getting frustrated in a queue behind slower cars, and thought I needed to (safely IMO) pass them in order to maintain my concentration and therefore my safety and that of others....

I would. And I'd do it agin if I were caught the first time.

I place safety over the law. In many instances, I firmly believe the law makes for dangerous driving and should be changed.

The limits are often too low/high for many roads/conditions/cars/driver reaction and skill.
