My Getz doesn't even have a water temp guage... just low or hi warning lamps...

so i have no idea if it's effected by the heat or not.

But it drives the same.

The a/c is super cold.... goosebump cold...

I drove a non a/c open car in extreme heat... sheesh..... enuff already!

Does the cold lamp work ? I have never seen it on my dash but it says it should be on in the book when i start it some mornings.

It's always on for every cold start for me. Usually on for around 1 or 2 minutes, then off.

It's distracting 'cos it's blue...

Blue to me is MAIN beam lamps... it gets me every time.

I queried it but they said nothing was wrong and I dont know enough about the Getz to challenge it in my usual arrogant way.

step 1. Read the owners manual.

step 2. Read the owners manual.

step 3. Understand what is written in the owners manual.

step 4. Get it fixed, if you need to.

Damn this hot weather - it's too hot to enjoy a drive in the Hills.    :irked:

How does the Lambo go in really hot weather like this????

Doesn't get temperamental about the heat????

The air cond is freezing and the coolant temp stays normal.  The batwings come up immediately when it is this hot.

I haven't taken it for a really hard drive but I expect it would be fine.  Italy can get pretty hot too after all.

But as for driving for fun in this heat?  Forget it.  It doesn't sound as good with the windows up, for one thing.  :D
