That looks great. Having a look at Loch Ness as well?

Amazing roadtrip btw

Yes, I found Nessie too.  Every time I go to upload the pic, my Mac crashes.  How weird is that? :)

I can confirm this from personal experience.  It was really eerie cresting a section of road, and find myself almost eye to eye with a pilot...

Today, while I was making a comfort stop in a little village, 2 fighters flew over in a low pass.  It was enough to bring the locals out of their shops - amazing sight and sound.

Here's today's map - I did some national park sightseeing while the laundry was getting done and then picked up the Tourist road south.  The funicular railway was a private project that went broke and was taken over by the government - or so the traindriver told me. The view was a whiteout.

The weather stayed dry till about 3pm then it really set in.  Edinburgh, where I'm staying,  is expecting 80ml tonight.  To start with, the rain slowed me up a lot, but once I had confidence in the car, I started enjoying the road again.  I came upon a couple of Jag engineers doing final evaluations on 2 F-types.  I stopped and chatted to one of them and got a 5 second vid of the other car taking off but my youtube is misbehaving.  They were LOUD. The test drivers were going up and down a really long, steep hill - checking brake performance, I guess.  They had telemetry stuff inside.  The one I spoke was senior looking and said the F-type is aimed directly at the 9ll.
