That would explain your lower rate. It's simple to change. My sparky forgot to adjust it when he installed it, I was getting 6kph and had to adjust it myself. It's just a screw dial you turn. But don't change it if the breakers pop.

Now that you mention it, I remember him showing me how to adjust it at the time.
I would probably get away with turning the wick up a tad at this time of year because both A/C units are unlikely to run at the same time because the weather has cooled off. Knowing me though, I would forget to turn it back down at the end of the year when the weather gets hot :doh:
