Car of the show, I reckon.  The BRG paint was flawless.

I saw the ugly duckling in the distance but somehow missed it up close.  No real problem though.

What was it anyway?

Carl Lindners D-Type and C-Type.
I believe he is taking orders.

I note that the  plaque on the dash says it is exempt from ADR.
There is a big write up on Carls business in the current Jaguar Magazine.
I think they are also offering  driving days through the Barossa behind the wheel of these cars.

The event was a useful shakedown for some of the older cars for the Climb to the Eagle on Friday week.

We were saying today that next year we are entering a car or two (it just has to be built in the last 101 years to qualify - obviously) to be be able to park on the parade ground.

The interesting fact about this 1964 car is that it has a supercharged 289 engine.

I overheard some people saying the orange mclaren sa-244 had been in a traffic shunt and the front end had been repaired. If that's true the repairers did a sensational job...

I have never liked orange cars...until yesterday! Only thing I would change is to make the brake callipers black.
