The track opened to the public at 10am but no F1 for them today but they were out before that having a run, the sound was unmistakable even from 7k away. :D

I live 7 k's from the track but can hear them at practice this morning at Albert Park very clearly from outside the house.

If these guys are so good, why do they need to keep practicing?  Either they know how to drive or they don't. 

I'd change it to a random draw for grid position and see how they go.  OK, there'd be a lot of prangs but that's what most punters want anyway. :p

Every lap of the track on the pre race days brings in another 1,000 through the gates, don't know if thats true or not but it sure as hell sounds good. :D
