Cannonball came in my FB feed. There was talk of a 20 year remembrance but I'm not sure if it happened. I guess a lot of those involved just want to forget.

We went, it was okay... we wanted a lot more to attend but, in the end the people that went, were the people that needed to be there.

Thanks to those that wanted to attend and gave us their well wishes.

That magazine article is the only magazine article I have seen that proves there was video footage taken.

Freedom Of Information. It's been denied for years that the video existed. I was even starting to doubt that I had seen the footage once, back in 1994. This is it. These pictures are taken from the video I saw.

Denied by many, including when this went to court.

However, since you don't see the significance, you wont get it right now. We (www.cannonballrun.info and the subscribers) have been chasing this video since 1995.

Yes and they were very helpful with what they wanted to share. However not this. There was only 2 TV stations in Darwin at the time. This was aired on Channel 8. They have been since bought out and apparently cant find this one video which is, quote "Unusual"

That said, it is rumoured the federal government stepped in and wouldn't allow the footage to be played after that forst time it aired
