BTW, if you have received the little black road book for the event, it contains some weird errors including a mention of the Carey Gully Township to be found within Echunga Township and a "turn left" coming into Strath that should be a "turn right". 

They must have used Google Maps to plot the route - be warned.  :doh:

Mmm..........I can 't remember but I may have paid for lunch before we decided on the FF.  Maybe that is the difference.

The extra payment would likely be for the Southern GP part, the lovely fare on offer at the Hotel Victor was on top of that again.

With those who missed on the Black Book the only other thing of importance, apart from the dodgy route instructions, were a certain yellow Murcielago. Which, understandably, manages to appear in three out of the six pictures featuring cars in the montage of the 2008 event.

Not a bad plan - although sadly I seldom know where I'm going.   :thumbsup:

However, if at any point you see a bunch of old Jags turning left, I definitely recommend turning right.  :eek:
