First and only pic for now. It kind of paints a picture of the entire day :)

More pics to come shortly. I want to finish them all first so I can drop them together.

Hi all

Went for a spin with some of the more finer examples of automotive engineering this side of the border. In the mix were Ferrari, Porsche, Maserati, Lamborghini, Audi, GTR, Alfa and of cause Lotus! All up about 25ish cars, all gathered for the "Coconut Run" which in today's case was a coastal cruise, a blast up into the hills and included Perth's only tunnel. Listening to these babies drop back 2 and give it stick in the tunnel was AWESOME!

Made more that one jaw drop along the way but the waves from the little kids along the way is more satisfying imho.

Some of my photos attached. Josh organised it so hopefully we'll see some decent action shots later.

i bet most people couldn't even tell you whether gallardo doors are supposed to open up and down or accross.

obviously, being a car enthusiast, it's not a good look.

but considering that even some car enthusiasts couldn't tell which direction they are meant to open, i don't see the big deal

I wouldn't exactly call someone a car enthusiast if they don't know how gallardo doors open.  Maybe my definition of 'car enthusiast' differs to that of others.  :p

fair call. but i consider an enthusiast who has an idea of what are good cars, identify different models, and know about the engines in them etc. but i wouldn't expect a car enthusiast to know every single detail about a car, but that's just me.

Maybe not, but Lambo doors open up not up and out. It gives it a distinct 'kit car' look.

It's a shocker - whoever did it destroyed the car's value.
