So I headed out to Goodwood yesterday. It is officially the Moving Motorshow which is used as a prep day for the Festival of Speed so nothing as exciting as what is taking place tomorrow and Sunday but none the less. The Moving Motorshow gave manufacturers the opportunity to arrange test drives for potential customers up the Goodwood hill climb, so whilst there was all the off track stuff, cars were still flying up the hill. Ferrari were there with the 458, FF and California 30, Porsche had the Boxster S, 991 cabriolet and Panamera Diesel (they also had the 918 Hybrid on their stand!!), and Mercedes had the SLS hard and soft top (which was by far the best noise). A lot of the more mainstream brands were there as well, hilarious to see a Phantom being thrown through the corner leading on the straight past the house and being given a bootful up the hill.

Also a lot of manufacturers had large stands setup in the grounds, showcasing their range along with a few concepts. There was also the supercar and F1 paddocks and all the other race cars that are heading up the hill over the weekend. You could spend from dawn to dusk going over everything in the grounds but unfortunately I had to head back to London so missed the rally side of things.

Anyway here are some photos.
