This week's Autocar describes an epic 24 hours in a new GT3.  The route is worth saving for a future trip.  Here's the first part of it.  I'm not sure why I can't get it to condense to a short URL but I'll fix it later, then add the Scotland leg and add more to it.

When I drove toWales it was incredible to drive there on a proper motorway, with slow traffic keeping left, and faster vehicles on the right, traveling at a speed that facilitated the flow of traffic. Cars merged without difficulty, signalling well in advance of their actual merge.

When I reached Wales, the roads were beautifully maintained and I was unmolested by the police, cameras, or slow moving locals.

I'll have to try Tasmania again!
