So, so far we have 6 that want to come. But from history, you need 30 that say they'll come in order to get 6 or 7 that will show up.
You make something idiotproof, they'll make a better idiot.

Where are you?  Which option appeals more - Alice by truck, or Uluru by car from Adelaide?

Not the most scenic drive from Adelaide ...... Truck to Alice will be the favored option Im guessing.

Would you want enclosed truck?  I recall back in the mid noughties paying $3K or thereabouts for an enclosed truck from Adelaide.  Except for the year when someone in Melbourne pulled out at the last minute and I paid $6600 which include a half full truck. :o

Put you off yet? :p

Have you done it?  It's pretty damn scenic past Pt Augusta if you are in the right car.

not really, the car is in immaculate condition with only 15000km since new ( I think -  hasnt been driven for a few years) - and I'd like to keep it in good nic

and a friend owns a transport business which runs north - so may be able to stitch something up there
