Right, it was a great day. When I left home it was beautiful blue skies, but by halfway to the meet point you couldn't see 100m in front of you. I had Q in a silver Porsche behind me and he was reduced to 2 headlights! So I was worried about how many would show, but shouldn't have been. We had 17 cars start off, though a few just joined us for the morning and headed back when the weather got a bit worse. Most of the roads weren't too bad considering the rain. The final leg of the trip was up and over Beechmont and that was pretty slow goings as we were actually in the clouds for most of that! Though the SV handled it a little to easily.
Here are a couple of photos to get started I'll try and get to the rest soon

It was great to meet you and all the other guys! That mud part of Beechmont was interesting, good ol' Gold Coast roadworks.

I think traction was a major issue for all of us. i dont think i even used more than 20% throttle all day.

Was a great day thanks Cam. Great bunch of blokes (and girls) and cars. Since we've all proven we can 4WD in our cars, perhaps the next run could be along the beach on Straddie! :)
It puts the lotion on its skin, or it gets the hose again.
