Has anyone ever followed or done the canals of Scotland ,I've wanted to ,this trip the time is just not there.

The one I'd like to do is "Crinan canal" from memory opened up a safe passage to the isle's on that side of Scotland

I did that one years ago - too long to remember. Scotland is fantastic driving in just about any direction.
