Not sure mate - I don't think it'll be till November some time. I have a 328 sedan coming around the same time as the 86, looking forward to both of them. I'm closely watching the turbo and supercharger kits for the 86, but I'm going to hold off a bit right now until they have been tested and there are more reviews out there - right now I'm looking at wheels and brake upgrades first off.
How long ago did you put your name down for an 86?? I just read that Subaru are bringing out a 'supercharged' kinda sti version of one which is on display at the motor show this week. It has upgraded brakes etc... Will see if I can find link.
I was thinking of canceling my 86 order and getting the Subaru one.....Toyota are dragging this on and on...Mind you, I was told that the 86's are getting closer as china has just rejected a whole heap, so they are bound for oz

I put my name down a month or so ago to buy the demo in my local dealers showroom, I still don't have a date yet and it still could be some time. I'm not in a huge rush but this wait is making me look around at other cars :)

Good move. Life's too short to wait. :)

The quality wasn't good enough for China, so they are sending them to Australia?

I dont think on this occasion they rejected a load of cars due to quality
I think its to do with the downturn in demand for Japanese goods due to the dispute over a tiny island

However, China has been rejecting various things lately, including Australian Pork
Apparently we still feed our pigs something to keep them lean which is banned in China

They also recently rejected USA grown corn that had been genetically modified
And also a shipment of faulty pacemakers that a USA based manufacturer tried to dump on the Chinese market after they were rejected in the USA

so its not all one way traffic

Probably more to do with Japanese car's and the owners of Japanese cars being attacked in the streets of China.
