I don't think you have missed the boat

Here's what mhh had to say about him on our last Tassie trip that he almost turned up for...

RMV missed the boat.

Was watching Weekend at Bernie's a week or two ago - RMV is a dead ringer for the lead actor and there's a scene where he jumps a wharf to land on a boat so he doesn't miss it... had me cracking up! :D

Seriously, if you do find one that you fancy, let me know. I would be happy to do an inspection(if it's in town, just take me out for dinner  :)) and give you some pointers on what to look for.

I don't think you have missed the boat, but there is a lot of crap out there because of all the back yarders who have imported cars in the last 12 months when the dollar was strong.

Cheers Mondi.  We'll see what the future holds... I may be in touch!

You are such a crack up. Did you get an A/C call from Chris's mate?

#sigh#

whatever.

I know that this 348 would have cost a lot less than YOUR GT4 to run, if they had been bought at the same time, in similar condition.

But they are not truly comparable, and of course there are always extremes and exceptions.

wtf?

I love my car. Buy your own

especially those dicks that colour code the rear grille!!

I'M A DICK!!!

The rear is what lets down the 348 big time looks wise. Colour coding it makes it blend in more. In black it just sticks out and looks real 80s.

The sterring is the one thing above all else that lets the car down IMO.
You make something idiotproof, they'll make a better idiot.

I'm surprised you say that.... It's the one redeeming ferature IMO!

Perhaps your 360 wheels being that much wider don't help...

Are the tyres pressured correctly? Are the tyres new enough?

Perhaps a wheel alignment might help? Excessive caster makes it feel worse than it should be.

The 348 has a nicely weighted feedback, it's perhaps a little under geared in the steering but if you give it plenty of lock, it turns nicely.
