obviously, it's not a good one if it's rusty.

there are LOTS of excellent ones, with no more or less rust than an aussie car

in fact.... they're of an age, where you're more likely to find an apparently nice aussie car, that will need major rust repairs sooner rather than later....


I would rather buy a nicey "rust repaired" UK car, than an original not yet rusted aussie car......


the aussie car will rust, the uk car will have been repaired and preserved better than factory, if done properly.

and i would rather buy an aussie car with no rust...then it's a good car and not unsellable.

i know of non aussie GT4s that were for sale when I bought mine (and god only knows for how long before that) that are STILL for sale!

but...just ask anyone who's owned a non aussie spec car who's tried to sell it against aussie spec cars.

anyway....you'll never agree as long as you have a source in the UK who gives you commission for cars they sell through you, and as long as you're going to be bringing in cars from there, you're never going to admit the negative aspect of non aussie cars v aussie spec cars. as usual feathering your nest is more important than giving accurate and sound advice.
