Bloody hell!!! Brand new component fitted a few weeks ago suddenly starts PISSING out fuel into the valley of the V8. I hate to think what could have happened if that occurred during my 400km drive with Carl a couple of weeks ago.

Luckily, if it HAD to happen, the leak started while the car was at Black Stallion. (every cloud has a silver lining)

I'm thinking a fire extinguisher installation might be in order.

Just goes to show, Hychill is nothing to worry about, but fuel and oil can happen ANY TIME.

So anyway, seeing as you started the thread, why don't you tell us about what's happened.

I asked you in another thread, and you ignored the hard question then too.... Is your 308 on fuel injection yet? If so... What's it like, other than leaky.

I didn't ask how the car was.

You know what I asked, but yes, I admit, it was a hard question.

You said "what's it like"

I said "superb"

Maybe you if you think that's not an answer to your question, you need to learn how to write better questions.

Is there anything specific you'd like to know? It was a general question...I gave a general answer.

Oh yeah....made an adjustment. 5kw more at the rear wheels. I now get more power everywhere from 1500rpm up than my old UK 328GTB. Pretty chuffed, actually. Mind you, that's no surprise considering the archaic engine management system on a 328!

So yes, Phil, it's superb, as I said.

Wrong again.

You've selected the bit that's suits your out of context answer....

You said your car is superb.

I asked what was the fuel injection like, if you have it.

and obviously, I'd like an answer that was informative, rather than commentary.

Maybe others would too?

Otherwise, if a 308 owner were to read this thread, thinking "oh no, 308's (even the best ones in the country  ) get fuel leaks too!", when in fact, maybe, its a modification that has caused or led to your leak....

So, in order for you to be the community helper that you strive to be....

Feed us some info....

There.... A hard question, spelt out easy as you like.

And have you fixed the problem you told us about, where it made no more power over 6500rpm than it did AT 6500rpm?

You have the opportunity to be interesting and informative here... Don't waste it

There's no need to reveal any pp secrets either, just simple explanations.... a dyno graph maybe, we know you love them.
