Is the Spyder version behind the seat like the Modena?

Either way shouldn't be too tricky to get one made, surely?

Yes it sits between the seats with a dual speaker configuration.

Hey guys this is my first post here, just wondering what the actual hi-fi upgrade for the 360 was. A small Sub in a box, larger mid range speakers? Also wondering if anyone has put in a different head unit. I know that most people like to keep it original but wonder if anyone has seen one.

Thanks guys

There was a guy a few months ago who did it step by step in his Spider and he posted the link on here. Not sure what the search criteria were but it should definatly be on the forums somewhere, try the search function.

I just wanted to share what i did with my 360's sound system, 6 months of research and planning went into it and the result is incredible.

Here is the link to the article.

Focal do make great stuff.. I have an amplified 10" focal sub in my roadster which sits behind the passenger seat...  only sits 7.5 cm deep. Would Highly recommend for anyone with minimal room for a sub. Still wondering what exactly the original hifi upgrade for the 360 was.. can someone shed some light for me?

I'd imagine it was a crappy upgrade, probably a better head unit and some stronger wattage speakers, maybe a bigger amp? I have never come across one upgraded from the factory, but i've only come in contact with roughly a couple a dozen 360's in Europe and Australia.

Edit: I got my car manuals out at the moment reading up how to check all the fluids, i'll see if it says anything about an upgraded system

Cheers Kujotk  Just very interested as the 360 has such a great loud and ferocious sound that i can't imagine being able to hear a stereo over the Engine. You said you own one... what's it like as far as the stock stereo is considered. I'm not exactly out to buy one straight away but we can all dream

I recon the stock system is good enough, My current CLS is fractionally better in quality (has much more bass which gives a false impression of better quality) and that thing has 14 speakers, external amps, sub ect....
As far as stock systems go the 360 does well with it's 2 speakers, better than I imagined it would be like.

Yup my users manual has the option of "the high power HI-Fi sound System. Includes 1 high powered 200wrms 4 channel amp located under the dashboard in a leather cover.
2 Tweeters (50wrms) with neodymium magnet.
2 mid woofer (50 wrms) 165mm in diametre.
1 leather covered sub in same leather colour as interior located in the middle of rear shelf.
