Unless you have had some experience driving Ferrari's, I don't think there is much point in taking it for a test drive yourself and expecting that you will know what to feel for or how things should behave - with all due respect - not saying you are an idiot or anything.

The best thing to do would be to have the Ferrari looked at and driven by someone who knows what they are on about. Sure take it for a drive, but I don't think that being told about how it should "feel" is going to give you the right idea - if you know what I mean.

don't concern yourself with trying to do a mechanical appraisal... there's simply too much to try to cover...

just find a car you can afford to buy and maintain, then get someone to check it over for you.

Well I have my eye on a Black one with cream interior which ive only seen the exterior of so far, definately looks the part, hope the mecanicals are fine aswell
