For things like this, buying new genuine is your only real solution, and currently, I think Japan is the best source/value for currency, but it's all expensive.

However, if the "fur" wearing away is your only problem, it's possible to re do it. It's called "flocking", and can be applied by several places, but none that I could recommend from experience.
