I lusted after a 365BB a few years back; but I reckon driving one now would do my head in.

Why Scott?

I enjoyed the 512 ,for its torque ,engine sounds ,mine was well set up by JA with the springs, shockers and sway bars ,but i found it to be the most selfish car I'd ever owned and at the same time the most exciting to drive fast ,tyres i ran were R spec ,that I'd ran on my Boss 302 in historic racing (lasted about 4ks) while on the them and when fresh it was fast .I enjoyed the way it handled corners fast ,but then I'd spent a lot of time racing rear engined race cars and had just come of 4 years of racing a Porsche Carrera in historics.

The cars handling never concerned me ,I know others who just could not handle in the mind set to drive a BB fast.

Amanda hated it and I found dealing with JA just too hard hence I sold it ,would I buy another one NO.

I have been driving modern Supercars for too long, they are just so good at everything and incredibly user friendly. I just can't be stuffed with OHOS that are difficult to drive fast and shit themselves at every opportunity.

Sounds a bit like me ,I'm up, cold weather kicks in and my Asma plays up thats why  I'm up struggling for air.

I'm not. I'm too scared to drive fast these days (dropped off skill level and too many cops)......and modern cars aren't entertaining at low speeds (once the novelty wears off)

Plus....a properly maintained old car is perfectly reliable IME
I love my car. Buy your own

Modern cars may be fast, however they are now built with many driver aids.

You should try one.....

I like to compromise ,old car well said up ,pure delight if your a driver .

The modern cars are mind blowing and so fast ,but when things go wrong ,happens at a far greater speed .

Even that little shit box i bought as a fun toy

0 to 100ks 4 seconds

0 to 160ks  10 seconds

I've driven a lot of fast old cars ,few modern ones ,there all good .
