......and modern cars aren't entertaining at low speeds (once the novelty wears off)

I'd agree there I'm bored already with my little car driving down a freeway at 100ks ,where the old Jag with the roof down pure delight .

True,I'm doing a drive with the Maserati boys in a few weeks and in the process of planning a mid week run once I'm back from a 3 day social drive with a few guys in our OHOS.

Nice drive over a day and half.

Melbourne to Tathra NSW via Princes hwy to Orbost Bombala  then similar run Bombala to cann river and home about 1,300 odd ks.

Nice drive in a modern car ,where as the BB in a short period like that would be to tiring .

Modern cars may be fast, however they are now built with many driver aids.

You should try one.....
Modern cars aren't that much fun. No reward for the risk you take when down winding roads etc....
I have both a modern and classic.....love the classic so much more
Everything looks better in carbon fibre
