So we have about 1.2 to 1.4kms then we need to brake :)

I'd say 1km max. I used two different programs and got lengths between 1400 and 1800m.

Guess we can measure first.

Another thing to consider is you wouldn't want to do this too often. A replacement set of pads runs into the thousands and you don't even want to think about replacing discs. Retail on those is about $7k a pop last time I checked on the Scuderia.

Very true but we dont need to SLAM on brakes I assume unless we do one or two at the limit of distance

If you want to max out the thing I reckon you will be right on the limits, if not beyond them.

Check your tyres before you leave too. Make sure that they have no nails in them etc and that there are no cuts or anything visible on them.

No Vmax for me.  200km/h will suffice.

I am thinking of the classic speedo picture; but I will be working out exactly what is safe and secure beforehand.
Hard to believe that I am the same person that would think nothing of winding a superbike out to Vmax of 300+ without giving it a moments thought. Must be getting old  :sadnana:

It's not long enough for a serious assault on the upper reaches. It's a drag strip. :)

Isn't it 1.5 km's long or something?
